Olive oil with basil takes approximately 2 seconds… + a bit of patience
Last week I was talking about the “pesto” option to use the last leaves of your basil plant before winter… Today I have an even easier and as delicious option : Olive oil with basil.
- 45 cl olive oil
- 100 g basil leaves
- Optional :
- A small piece of garlic clove (2 mm max)
- In a 50 cl glass bottle, combine basil leaves and olive oil.
- (Optional : Add garlic and salt)
- Hide in the shade of a cupboard for one month (until the maceration proecss is complete).
Can be used everywhere you use tomatoes like a tomato and mozzarella salad, gazpacho, pizzas, tomato sauce, greek salad…
Et… voilà, Bonne dégustation !
