Fruits and sugar… Easy, delicious and very traditionnal !
This korean preservation process works as well with any vegetable like the pickling process with the egyptian limes with salt.
Ingredients (for one kilo of fruits):
- 1 kilo sugar
- In a big pottery jar, mix fruits and sugar together and leave it for 3 months.
- After 3 months, split juice and fruits.
- Use fruits for tarts or cakes for example or compost it.
- Use juice for making sauce, dressings, fresh juice or tea using one part of juice, 5 parts of water.
